OLPC Unveils New Thin Tablet

One Laptop Per Child program (OLPC) and Yves Behar have unveiled their latest concept design for a $75 tablet.

OLPC was started by Nicholas Negroponte and over one million laptops have been distributed to children around the world.

This third generation device is keeping with the newfound trend toward tablets.  It will measure 8.5 x 11 and is all touchscreen.

One Laptop per Child (OLPC) said it would be “available in 2012″ and would cost “well below $100″.  The XO-3 will eventually replace the original XO laptop that first went into production in 2007.
